Boaters Education Courses
There will be a 2 hour minimum for training courses (Usually docking drills only), but the standard course with hands-on training will range from 4-6 hours depending on the customers experience level and needs. Customized courses can be made to suit your needs. You will receive a spiral bound book of course materials and a study guide for the Florida Boaters Safety Course.

Our boat and yacht relocation methods and pricing depend on the vessel and beginning and ending destinations, but we always ensure that your boat or yacht is delivered without incident or damage. No hassles and no worries on your part. We manage all of the steps involved in safely relocating your investment to its destination. If you are PROVIDING YOUR OWN BOAT:
$3.50 per foot / per hour
Must provide up to date proof of insurance ahead of time. Training prices and other requirements are still in effect.
Boaters Education Courses
Most of our clients are new boat owners or their spouses. Do you or your passengers know how to handle an emergency on the water? Can your spouse or friend take over if the operator becomes incapacitated or impaired? It’s best to be prepared before the need arises, and emergencies are never predictable. We can design a course to suit the needs and experience level of you, your family, and friends.

If you are training on your own vessel, pricing is $3.50 per foot / per hour. If you need a boat supplied for the course, reference the weekday and weekend pricing above. Pricing includes the first 2 course attendees. An additional charge of $50 per hour will be applied for each person beyond the initial two attendees.
Also, please no children less than 14 years of age in class. Children 14 years of age and older are allowed to take the Florida Boaters Safety Online Course.

Designated Boat Captain / Boat Pickup
Sometimes you want to be able to enjoy a drink or two and don’t want to be responsible for everyone aboard, so let Tampa Bay Captain Services take the wheel! Also, if you’ve already had a bit too much to drink and want us to come pick you and your vessel up so you can avoid a costly BUI/BWI, remember to save our number in your phone now! Towing / Rescue
Towing is billed at a rate of $200 per hour. There is a 2 hour minimum and this amount is paid upfront when we accept the job and is non-refundable. The total towing time and price starts the moment we leave our dock to come get you and your vessel; and concludes the moment we arrive back to our dock.
Boat Delivery / Transport
Call us for a quote! Rates will vary based on vessel, distance and location of origin.
Captain- $350 per day. Per Diem- $150 per day
Deck Hand- $200 per day. Per Diem- $150 per day
Engineer- $300 per day. Per Diem- $150 per day (Only required if vessel is 70’ or larger)
If the crew is forced to stay in port due to weather or mechanical malfunction, only per diem is owed for that day.
All travel to the vessel to be transported is at the above rate. Client pays for hotel, flights or rental car, whichever is convenient for the Tampa Bay Captain Services staff.
Up to 50’ vessel – Captain and 1 deck hand required
50-69’ vessel – Captain and 2 deck hands required
70’ or larger vessel – Captain, 3 deck hands, and 1 Engineer required
Overland transports are paid at the rate of $60 per hour, including travel time to the vessel to be transported within the state of Florida. Transports outside of Florida may be subject to per diem and/or hotel stays. Each job is unique, so call us for a quote!
50% Deposit required up front based on average slowest speed.
Notice:
- 2-hour minimum
- Deposit of 50% is required upfront, and the remainder is due at the dock upon arrival.
- Payments can be made by cash (still must have a major credit card on file), credit, or debit (No checks).
- One free reschedule due to any reason other than inclement weather. After that, each reschedule will be charged a non-refundable fee of $100 to reschedule.
- Tipping is customary at 15-20% of the total cost. Quoted rates do not include tip.
- 2 Hour trips are set-up as the second trip of the day unless there is no morning trip.
- Holidays & Special Event Pricing Will Vary
- Gift certificates are available (gift certificates expire 1-year after purchase date).
- Cancellation Policy:
- Within 7 Days: 50% Refund
- Within 24 Hours: Non-refundable; if cancellation is weather related, you may receive a 100% refund. Weather cancelations will be determined either the night before, or the morning of
